MEDIOEVO NEL BORGO During the first week-end of August you will be taken back of some century, exactly to the Middle Ages. Roccatederighi changes, just aroud the old door the time turns back: the inhabitants wear only historical dresses, you will see ladies and knights, peasants and beggars, and artisans who will offer you their ancient arts; at night alleys are lighted by torches, and the village is delighted by minstrels and story-tellers, magicians and sorceresses and every kind of acrobats. You will find stalls that will offer you many kinds of merchandise: from fresh fruit to ceramicware, from cakes to parchment, or... some magic potion or some strange invention. But pay attention: here euro is not used, here you could use only Roccatederighi florins that will be changed with your money at the entrance of the village.  And after changing your money and buy any kind of wonder you will smell a perfume among the alleys: many taverns are situated in different corners of the village. Dishes cooked following the ancient recipes and with the good local products will be served to you, together with good wine. But look out: you could fall into fightings between knights in armor, or meet witches and wizards. |
